Viola W. Peffly

VIOLA W. PEFFLY, age 92, of Eaton, Ohio, died Friday, December 22, 2006 at Greenbrier Nursing Center in Eaton. Born on February 20, 1914 in Dayton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Walter J. & Ethel (Himes) Loy. She was a 61 year member of the Eastern Star and a Past Worthy Matron of Gleaners #182 O.E.S. Preceded in death by her husband: George E. Peffly, Jr. in 1997; son: Walter E. Peffly, Sr. in 2006; grandson: Donald W. Peffly in 1978; sisters: Cora Ellen Loy, Grace Johnson, and Cleo Sandy.

Survivors include son: Robert E. Peffly of Eaton, Ohio; daughter-in-law: Laveda Peffly of Eaton, Ohio; sister: Martha Williams of Kettering, Ohio; seven grandchildren, eight great grandchild, and six great great grandchildren; various nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2006 - 12:00 P.M. at Barnes Funeral Home - 220 East Main Street - Eaton, Ohio with Rev. Gary Wood officiating. Interment will be held in Mound Hill Union Cemetery in Eaton, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Thursday, December 28, 2006 from 11:00 A.M. to 11:45 A.M. at the funeral home where Eastern Star services will be conducted at 11:45 A.M.
