Thomas S. Crull

Thomas S. “Tom” Crull, age 72, of New Paris, Ohio died Sunday, August 27, 2006 in Richmond, Indiana. Born June 27, 1934 in Williamsburg, Indiana, son of the late Frank Morris & Edna Mae (Scott) Crull. He was a 1952 Williamsburg High School graduate, former 4-H Member of Wayne County for 11 years, member Williamsburg Friends Church. In 1957, he became a Charter Member of the Williamsburg Lions Club. Tom and his family moved to Preble County in 1963. From 1972 to 1984 he worked for Olin AG at Campbellstown and as a salesman for Townsend Livestock Equipment from 1984 to 1990. Member of the Preble County Fair Board from 1985 to 1997 and Manager of the Preble County Fairgrounds from 1990 to 1997. Member of the New Paris Boosters Club from 1967 to 1980, New Paris Kiwanis Club since 1990, Eaton Lions Club since 1992, and Ohio Dorset Breeders Association.

Survived by wife of 50 years: Myra Lou (White) Crull; sons & daughters-in-law: Jeffrey Scott & Diana Crull of Fort Pierce, Florida and Robert Kent & Vickie Crull of New Paris, Ohio; daughter & son-in-law: Myra Ann & Jeff Frame of Liberty, Indiana; brother & sister-in-law: William J. & Joyce Crull of Williamsburg, Indiana; sisters & brother-in-law: Susan & Tony Fisher of Brownsburg, Indiana and Betty Jean Locke of Winchester, Indiana; grandchildren: Scott Wesler, John (Jenna) Crull, Sarah, Ashley, and Cory Crull; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 31, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Barnes Funeral Home - 109 West Main Street - New Paris, Ohio with Rev. LaDonna Clary officiating. Interment will be held in Springlawn Cemetery in New Paris, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 30, 2006 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the funeral.
