Theresa Marie Waters

Theresa Marie Waters, age 38 of New Paris, Ohio, died, Monday, November 2, 2026, at Reid Health in Richmond, Indiana. Theresa was born on November 27, 1987, in Fort Worth, Texas, daughter of Richard Patrick and Elizabeth Marie (Marlow) Waters of Eaton, Ohio.

Theresa moved to New Paris in 2017 where she became a beloved member of the New Paris Group Home Community. Known for her brilliant smile that could warm your heart, Theresa brought so much love and joy to her family and everyone she met. She loved participating in the Special Olympics where she enjoyed playing softball and encouraging her friends in their events as a cheerleader

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Patrick Waters and Barbara Waters-Riddle and her maternal grandfather, Raymond Marlow.

In addition to her parents, Theresa is survived by her brothers, Richard Brian Waters and Ryan Patrick Waters; maternal grandmother, Juanita Farmer; nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of very dear friends from the New Paris Group Home.
