Sydney S. Mcdaniel

Sydney S. McDaniel, 23, of New Paris, OH, passed away Monday, March 27, 2017. Syd was born on October 6, 1993 in Dayton, Ohio and was a 2012 National Trail High School graduate. He was very proud of and loved his job at the Kroger Store in Eaton, OH. He was an avid golfer, Xbox player, loved to play Pokemon Go, going on many road trips, playing guitar and listening to music.

Survived by his parents: Candi & Mike Whitehead of New Paris, OH; biological father: Anthony Perseponko of Richmond, IN; sisters: Bailey Noble of New Paris, OH and Miranda Perseponko of Centerville, IN; and longtime love: Kasha McCoy of New Paris, OH; grandparents: Jerry & Rosemary Good of New Paris, OH; grandparents: Elisha & Dianna McDaniel of Richmond, IN; and grandparents: Joe & Martha Perseponko of Richmond, IN; Best friend: Keith Fliehman of New Paris, OH, aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by great grandparents: Sidney and Virginia Henn; great grandfather: Elbert McDaniel and cousin Jenna Hayden.

Family will receive friends on Friday, March 31, 2017 from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. at Barnes Funeral Home, 109 West Main Street New Paris, OH. The funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Pastor Rodney Dunn officiating. Please wear red in Syd's memory. Interment will be held in Spring Lawn Cemetery in New Paris, OH.
