Steven W. Kemp

Steven Wade Kemp, 65 of Lewisburg, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2026 at his residence. Born on October 19, 1961 in Dayton, Ohio, he was the son of the late Norman Melvin Kemp and Judy Ann (Good) Dillon.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his Best Friend: Mark Hesler.

Steve was a retired carpenter, having worked with his brother Sam at SK Hardwood Flooring for 48 years. He was a member of the Carpenter’s Union in New York.

Survived by his Children: Rachael E. (Darrell) Kemp McDargh, Amber (Andy George) Kemp, Angele Sharrett and Gary Hollingsworth; Brothers and Sisters-in-law: Sam (Brenda) Kemp and Ed (Monica) Kemp; Sister: Debbie (Kent) Sotzing; 13 Grandchildren and a host of friends.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, November 12, 2026 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 North Commerce St., Lewisburg, Ohio. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg. Family will receive friends on Thursday from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
