Scott Collier Powell

Scott Collier Powell, age 67, of Lewisburg, OH, died on Monday, February 26, 2018.   Born on Feb. 1, 1951 in Dayton, OH, son of Richard Collier & Myra Jean (O’Neill) Powell.   

Scott graduated in 1969 from Twin Valley North High School.  Scott was a past owner of Loy’s Body Shop in Lewisburg, Ohio.  He enjoyed the restoration of many classic cars for over 45 years. 

Preceded by Father, Richard Collier Powell; Step Father, Norman Slenker.

Survived by his Wife of 25 years: Sheri L.  Powell; Son: Isaac Scott Collier Powell; Step Children: Gina Vincent, Kathryn Kight, T.J. Kight, Rebecca DeLancy; Mother: Jean Powell Slenker; Sister: Stephanie (Billy) Portemont; Nephew: Adam (Lindy) Richard Carroll; Special Friend: Dave Shock. 

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, March 2, 2018 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 N. Commerce St., Lewisburg, OH with Pastors Rick & Ruth Ramey officiating.  Family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M.  Condolences may be sent via www.barnesfuneralhome.com
