Rosie E. Weir

Rosie E. Weir, age 94, of Eaton, Ohio died Wednesday, July 6, 2005 at Vancrest Health Care Center in Eaton. Born on June 10 , 1911 in Eaton, Preble County, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Henry H. & Esther B. (Mann) Showalter. Member of Eaton United Church of Christ. Preceded in death by husband: Walter L. Weir in 1977; son: Fred Weir in 2002; daughter: Marie E. Moore in 1983; brothers: Bernard E., Orville, Albert, Harold, Robert W. and Howard Showalter. Sister: Violetetta Showalter.

Survived by daughter: Hazel Leedy Call of Eaton, Ohio; son: Tom Weir of Dayton, Ohio; sisters: Hazel Fowble and Eveline Pheanis both of Eaton, Ohio. 16 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and numerous great-great grandchildren.

Private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family
in Mound Hill Union Cemetery - Eaton, Ohio with Rev. Randall Brakemeyer officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Eaton Emergency Squad - P.O. Box 27 - Eaton, Ohio 45320 or Preble County Battered Womens Shelter - Eaton, Ohio 45320.
