Roberta Mae Johnson

ROBERTA MAE “Bertie” JOHNSON, age 98, of New Paris, Ohio died Monday April 12, 2004 at Cherish Health & Living Center in Richmond, Indiana. Born on July 19, 1905 near Pleasant Hill, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Morris & Kitty Mae (Yount) Brown. She was a 1924 Pleasant Hill, Ohio High School graduate; she had worked as a Waitress at the Lampost in New Paris, Ohio and at Reid Hospital in Richmond, Indiana as a Nurses Aid for 17 years. Preceded in death by brothers: Randall, Weldon, Bernard and Lawrence Brown.

Survivors include: daughter and son-in-law: Susan K. & Ronald Crossno of New Paris, Ohio; son and daughter-in-law: Larry A. & Pat Johnson of New Paris, Ohio. Ten grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Nieces and nephews.

Graveside Service will be held at 2:00P.M.(OhioTime) Wednesday April 14, 2004 at the Springlawn Cemetery in New Paris, Ohio with Pastor Justin Murphy officiating.
