Robert E. Crane

Robert E. Crane, age 93 of New Paris, Ohio died Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at Brookdale of Greenville, Ohio. Born on May 8, 1932, in Richmond Indiana he was the son of the late Charles & Corrine A. (Seal) Crane.

Robert served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He worked at Avco Corporation in Richmond in 1968, Richmond Music Store from 1968 to 1979, and Crane Sporting Goods. Played the guitar for over 50 years in the area and loved Automobiles and Motorcycles.

Preceded in death by his Wife of 38 years: Suzanne L. (DeLuze) Crane in 1993; daughter: Chantal Lewis in 1993; Son: Rance Crane in 2021; Granddaughter: Capucine Crane in 2018. Sister: Connie Jones and Brother: Karl Kemple.

Survivors: Significant other for over 30 years: Margaret Teegarden; Daughter: Tammy Dale of Richmond, IN, 5 Grandchildren: Cantrel Decker, Shadrick Delk, Chantal Crane, Nicholas Dale and Tyler Dale several Great Grandchildren and several Great Great Grandchildren.

Family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Thursday, June 19, 2025, at Barnes Funeral Home – 109 West Main Street – New Paris, Ohio. A graveside service will be 11:30 A.M. at Spring Lawn Cemetery – New Paris, Ohio.
