Phyllis Mae Mikesell

Phyllis Mae Mikesell, 94, of Eldorado, Ohio, died Monday, September 8, 2025 at her residence. Born on April 19, 1931 in Darke County, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Ervin E. Bolinger and Mabel Anna Byrd Hofacker.

Phyllis had worked for the telephone office and glove factory in Eaton and later worked at the Post Office. She also worked with her husband at Mikesell's TV in Eldorado. She had worked and volunteered at the Greenbriar Nursing Center in Eaton. She was a Monroe Township High School graduate, served on the Democratic County Central Committee and was a member of First Universalist Church of Eldorado.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband: George Everett Mikesell in 2002.

Survivors include her Sons: Rick (Vickey) Mikesell, and George Mikesell III; Granddaughters: Erica (Mikesell) Morris, and Hope (Mikesell) Strickland and her husband Mike; Great Grandchildren: Austin, Josh, Jacob, Jack, and Emma. Great Great Grandchildren: Rowan and Remington. Bonus Children: Debbie Huff and Lee Gerrorge. Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, September 12, 2025 at The First Universalist Church of Eldorado, 160 Monroe St., Eldorado, OH 45321 with Rev. Derek Parker officiating. Interment will be held in Monroe Cemetery in Eldorado, Ohio. The family will receive friends on Friday from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the church.
