Philip L. Rexrode

Philip L. Rexrode, age 88 of Eaton, Ohio died Tuesday, April 28, 2025, at Indiana University Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. Born on February 2, 1937, in Preble County, Ohio he was the son of the late Otho & Dorothy (Rodeffer) Rexrode.

He graduated from Jackson High School in 1955 and had served in the Ohio National Guards for over 8 Years and was employed at Sanders Implement in Richmond, IN and retired from Parker Hannifin in Eaton with over 12 years of service. He enjoyed doing jobs around his farm, watching the Cincinnati Reds, Cincinnati Bengals and all sports.

Preceded in death by son Rodney Lee Rexrode in 2015. Brothers: Cleo Rexrode, Dale Rexrode, sister: Wilda Murray.

Survived by his wife: June A. (Raper) Rexrode. Son & Daughter-in-law: Greg & Shannon Rexrode of Eaton, OH; Grandchildren: Lacey & Cory Mitchell and Garrett Rexrode. Nieces and Nephews.

Family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Friday May 2, 2025, at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main St., Eaton, OH. The Funeral Service will be 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Rev. James C. Sizelove officiating. Interment will be held in Mound Hill Cemetery in Eaton, OH.
