Peyton Gilpin

Peyton Gilpin, 22, of Eaton, Ohio, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2024 at his residence. Born on May 24, 2001 in Middletown, Ohio. Peyton was a 2020 graduate of Eaton High School and had been employed at Blue Beacon in New Paris. He was an avid lover of ATV’s, dirt bikes, cars, and trucks. He was a kind, gentle soul.

Preceded in death by his Brother: Hayden C. Shockley.

Survived by his Mother: Charlotte Gilpin; Brother: Wyatt Gilpin; Additional Parents: Troy Claybaker and Christie Barker; Brothers: Carson Barker, Austin (Paige) Nutt, Tyler (Cortney) Claybaker, and Tanner Claybaker; Grandparents: Roger and Debra Ratliff; Brad (Rina) Gilpin; Aunt: Rebecca Shaw; Cousin: Evan Shaw; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 8, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Trinity Church of Lewisburg, 511 North Commerce Street, Lewisburg, Ohio. Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m., with Pastor Gary Sollenberger officiating. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg. A luncheon will be held at the church following the interment.
