Paula June (Fox) Creech

Paula June (Fox) Creech, age 65, of Lewisburg, Ohio passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2026 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. Born on November 7, 1960, in Van Nuys, Los Angeles County, California.

Paula had a long a distinguished career as a public servant. She began in EMS with the Lewisburg Emergency Unit where she was one of the First Paramedics. Throughout her extensive career she served in many roles. Mother, co-worker, boss, and hero to many. She worked for several Fire Departments in the area until 2018 when she traded her boots for flip flops and retired as a Battalion Chief for the City of Clayton, Ohio Fire Department. She was then able to enjoy life full time. She enjoyed traveling, baseball, anything the grandkids were into, and making soap.

Both of her kids have followed in her footsteps in their careers and are carrying on many of the traits she instilled in them during their childhoods and the time they both spent working alongside her. She was an amazing mother and grandmother to not only the biological ones but also the “adopted ones.” She loved her animals dearly. She will have a line of beloved animals welcoming her in the afterlife, dogs Winnie, and Bailey, and even a squirrel. Current pup Luna will surely pester and keep Randy company for many years.

Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Randy Creech; son, Brady & Sarah Creech; daughter, Mallory & Jeff Lewis; additional family, Shelly & Ron Lavender; grand children, Eli, Harper, Grayson, Hawk, and Wren; father & mother, Duard & Cindy Fox; Mother in law Linda Creech; sister, Sherri & Pat Fink; brother, Steve & Denisa Fox; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 1, 2026 from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 N. Commerce St., Lewisburg, Ohio.
