Nancy Linklater

Nancy Linklater, age 80 of Centerville, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2026 at Optimized Senior Living in Lebanon, Ohio. She was a loving sister & aunt and will be greatly missed.

Nancy Linklater was born on July 29, 1946 in Dayton, Ohio, daughter of the late William Miles & Mariam (Markey) Linklater.

She graduated from Kettering Fairmont West and attended Sinclair Community College in Dayton, Ohio.

Nancy worked for Bell Systems in Denver, Colorado, Dayton, Ohio and Cleveland, Ohio. She had various roles as an Assistant Manager, Training Instructor and was in Customer Service. She retired in 2011 after 25 years of service with National City Bank (PNC) in Dayton, Ohio. She also was a volunteer at Kettering Hospital.

She was a member of the Hillside Chapel in Beavercreek, Ohio.

Nancy had a strong love for dogs and the companionship they brought was a meaningful part of her life. Her faithful companions Peaches and Rocky, were dearly loved and held a special place in her heart.

She was preceded in death by her brother, William “Bill” Miles Linklater II in 2023.

Survived by her brother & sister-in-law, Jack & Brenda Linklater; sister-in-law, Marcia Linklater; niece, Amy Burns; nephews, William “Bill” Linklater III and Kyle Linklater; several great nieces and nephews.

Private Graveside Services will be held at the convenience of the family at Mound Hill Cemetery in Eaton, Ohio.
