Melissa Jean Crum

Melissa Jean “Missy” (Barker) Crum, age 58, of Lewisburg, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at Hospice of Dayton.  Born on October 16, 1965 in Dayton, Ohio.

 She graduated from Dixie High School in 1984 as well as JVS in Cosmetology.  Missy was a hard worker with a sense of humor.  She had a knowledge of so many different things and would give the shirt off her back to anyone who needed it.  She was truly a jack of all trades.  Missy enjoyed thrifting as her number one hobby.  She loved Donald Trump.

 The greatest joy and achievements were her children and grandbabies.  They were her whole world.

 Preceded by her father, Lyman Francis Barker, Sr.; mother, Frances Eileen “Fran” Barker Moore; stepfather, Bruce N. Moore. 

 Survived by her children, Brandi (Jeff) Evans, Zac (Shawna) Crum, Shelby Crum, and Laci (Corey) Young; grandchildren, Brantley, Zander, Allena, Hayden, Kylan, Zavier, Kason, Leland, and Krislynn; sister & brother-in-law, Franny & Dennis Kouts; brother & sister-in-law, Lyman F. & Tammy Barker, Jr.; her fur baby & best friend, “Buddy”; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

 Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 N. Commerce St., Lewisburg, Ohio.
