Mary Ruth Crawford

MARY R. CRAWFORD, age 90, of West Elkton, Ohio, died Friday, December 22, 2006 at Woodland Country Manor in Somerville. Born on October 26, 1916 in Dayton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late William Gordon & Henrietta (Amend) Humphries. She was a graduate of Hanover High School near Oxford, Ohio and she attended the West Elkton United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband: Elmer Oakley Crawford in 1997; sisters: Alice Jane Hamblin and Pauline Johnson and brother: William Robert Humphries.

She is survived by her sons & daughters-in-law: Donald Ray & Beatrice Crawford of Middletown, Ohio, Robert Gordon & Marilyn Crawford of West Elkton, Ohio and James Elmer & Madalyn Crawford of Fort Wright, Kentucky; daughters: Sondra Gayle Doran of Camden, Ohio and Judith Ann & Bill Rodgers of Fort Walton, Florida; sister: Carolyn Esther Sweeney of Winter Haven, Florida. Sixteen Grandchildren; thirty six great grandchildren and ten great great grandchildren. Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 27, 2006 at the West Elkton United Methodist Church - 120 South Main Street - West Elkton, Ohio with Rev. Greg F. Jackson officiating. Interment will be held in Fairmound Cemetery in West Elkton. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 27, 2006 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the church. Arrangements entrusted to Nein-Barnes Funeral Home-249 North Main Street-Camden, Ohio.
