Mary Louise Kruse

Mary L. (Crowell) Kruse, 80 of Lewisburg, Ohio, died Monday, May 19, 2025, at Vancrest of New Carlisle, Ohio. She was born on July 25, 1944, in Fairborn, Ohio, daughter of the late Walter H. and Mary C. (Lincoln) Crowell. Mary was a 1962 graduate of Lewisburg-Union High School, a 1966 graduate of Ohio University in Athens, Ohio where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in education and a 1986 graduate of Wright State University in Fairborn, Ohio where she received her Master of Education. Mary was an elementary schoolteacher having taught at Franklin Monroe Schools near Arcanum, Ohio and Brookville Community Schools in Brookville, Ohio, retiring in 1994. Following her retirement Mary enjoyed traveling to Port Clinton with her husband and her beloved shelties, Katie Colleen, Shannon and Bonnie. Mary was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Lewisburg.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 20 years, Douglas R. Kruse in 2006.

A private inurnment was held in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg.
