Linda Kay Bennett

Linda Kay (Peters) Bennett, age 76 of Eaton, Ohio went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 24, 2026. Born on March 15, 1950 in Preble County, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Cecil E. & Hazel L. (Rowland) Peters.

Member of the Eaton First Church of the Nazarene. She was avid gardener and loved flowers. She loved singing and dancing. Avid reader and loved watching movies.

She loved her family and had the sweetest heart.

Preceded by her husband, Harold "Ed" Bennett; sons, Harold Bennett, Jr. and Richard E. Bennett; brothers, Robert Louis Peters, Charles Michael Peters, and Ronald Lee Peters. 

Survived by her daughters & sons-in-law, Lena (Blaine) Bennett of Thornton, CO; Molly & Mike T. Barnhart of Findlay, OH and Rachael & John Foster of Morrow, OH; sisters, Cecilia Cooley of Watertown, NY and Leona Parks of Eaton, OH; brother-in-law, John & Betty Bennett of West Alexandria, OH; 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchild; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2026 at 4:00 P.M. at Eaton First Church of the Nazarene, 201 E. Lexington Road, Eaton, OH with Pastor Jim High officiating. Interment will be held at Mound Hill Cemetery in Eaton, OH. Family will receive friends on Thursday from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at the church in Eaton.
