Judith I. Schaefer

Judith I. (Albert) Schaefer, 83 of Lewisburg, died, Saturday, May 23, 2026 at Hospice of Dayton. Born on July 18, 1942 in Dayton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Clifford J. and Marjorie I. (Hoff) Albert.

She was a 1960 Lewisburg High School graduate. She was a teller at the First National Bank of Southwestern Ohio in Verona and then served as Head Teller for Eaton National Bank in Lewisburg. She loved to read, work puzzles, listen to Elvis and spending time with family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her Husbands: Victor C. Ray in 1972 and William M. Schaefer in 1998; Brother: James C. Albert in 2002; Daughter-in-law: Leslie Ray in 2026.

Survived by her Children: Allen C. and Sandra Ray, Bryan M. Ray, Craig S. and Courtney Ray and Danielle N. “Nikki” and Tony Lefeld; Grandchildren: Chelsea (Josh) Obringer, Lindsey (Matt) Smith, Cody Treon, Kayla (Seth) Bennett, Tyler (Autumn) Abney, Caitlyn (Nolan) Woolley, Brandon Varner, Cadence Ray, Nathan, Nicole and Natalie Lefeld; Great Grandchildren: Kensington and Emersyn Obringer, Brylee and Knox Bennett. Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Friday, May 29, 2026 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 North Commerce Street, Lewisburg, Ohio with Pastor Gary W. Sollenberger officiating. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Friday from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.
