Joyce Ann Garrison

Joyce Ann Garrison, age 84, of New Paris, Ohio, went to be home with the Lord on Sunday, November 12, 2023.  Born on January 13, 1939 in Van Buren Township, Darke County, Ohio, daughter of the late Marion & Glendora (Mergler) Fourman.

Joyce had worked at Belden in Richmond, Indiana for many years in the accounting department before retiring in 1998.  She had also owned & worked for City Delivery as a mail courier in Richmond, Indiana.

She was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes Fan and loved watching her grandchildren in school activities.

Preceded by daughter, Tina Renee Garrison in 1992; sister, Janet Fourman.

Survived by her daughter, Karla Spitler; son, Jeff Garrison; grandson, Sean Spitler, granddaughters, Angel Spitler and Brittney (A.J.) Green; great grandchildren, Isabell Spitler, Logan Green and Caiden Green; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Celebration of Life will be held at 7:00 P.M., on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at Barnes Funeral Home, 109 West Main Street, New Paris, Ohio with Pastor Rodney Dunn officiating.  Family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home on Tuesday.
