JANE B. KING, age 86, of New Paris, Ohio, died Thursday, January 11, 2007 at the Oakridge Rehabilitation Center in Richmond, Indiana. Born on February 19, 1920 in Richmond, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Clara (Pitman) Canan. She was a 1938 graduate of Morton High School in Richmond and was a fifty year member of the Ideal Chapter # 293 of the Eastern Star of Lewisburg. She was a cashier at Kroger for many years.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years: John R. King in 1996; daughter: Carolyn Sue King in 2004; sisters: Thelma Canan and Grace Libking and brother: Bud Canan.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Rob & Debbie King of New Paris; Grandchildren: Sara & Chad Smith of Minnesota and Adam King of New Paris and her twin sister: Janet Robins of Richmond. Nieces and Nephews.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Northwest Emergency Squad- 135 North Washington St.- New Paris, Ohio 45347.
