Harold Collins

Harold “Pat” Collins, age 78, of Camden, Ohio died Saturday, September 16, 2006 at Woodland Country Manor in Somerville, Ohio. Born on March 17, 1928 in Hamilton, Ohio, he was the son of the late Thomas Johnson & Millie Frances (Collins) Collins. He proudly served in the US Army during World War II. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Miamisburg, Ohio. He retired from Howard Paper Mill in Dayton, Ohio after 43 years. Preceded in death by his sisters: Helen Vickers, Joretta Murray, and Wonietta Collins; great grandchildren: Summer and Jasmine.

Survived by his wife of 56 years: Janette Collins of Camden, Ohio; son: Harold Stevenson Collins of Fairhaven, Ohio; daughter: Carolyn Frances Hall of Camden, Ohio; brother: Thomas J. Collins, Jr.; sister: Marjorie Smith of McKee, Kentucky; grandchildren: Kristina Hall of Hamilton, Ohio, Brian Hall of Hamilton, Ohio, and April Stevens of West College Corner, Indiana; great grandchildren: Tyler, Brianna, Ethan, and Hunter.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 19, 2006 - 11:00 a.m. at Nein - Barnes Funeral Home - 249 North Main Street - Camden, Ohio with Rev. Vester Smith, Jr. officiating. Interment will be held in Fairhaven Cemetery in Fairhaven, Ohio with full military honors provided by the Preble County Honor Guard.
