Gregory Scott Taylor

Greg S. Taylor age 60 of (Lakengren) Eaton, Ohio, died Sunday, February 7, 2021 at his residence. Born on December 30, 1960 in Dayton, Ohio he was the son of John A. & Ruth Ann (O’Dell) Taylor. He was a 1979 Eaton High School Graduate and was active with his class Alumni. He built the 1979 Class Bench that is located at the Eaton High School. Greg was also active with the Save The Tank Committee, a Preble County History Enthusiast and employed at Parker Hannifin Corporation in Eaton for over 22 years.  

Survived by wife of 40 years: Sherrill L. “Sherri” (Ottman) Taylor; son: Bryan Taylor of West Carrollton, OH; mother: Ruth Taylor of Huber Heights, OH; brothers: Terry Taylor & friend Brenda Lee of Eaton, OH; Richard Francis of Richmond, IN; sisters: Diann (Jonthan) Barlow of Huber Heights, OH; Robin Fligor of Eaton, OH and Bobbi Francis; 2 nieces & 1 nephew. 

Family will receive friends Sunday, February 14, 2021 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, OH. A celebration of Greg’s life will begin 4:00 PM at the funeral home with family and friends sharing.
