Fred Mullins, Sr.

Fred Mullins, Sr., age 89 of Lewisburg, Ohio, passed away at his home on Thursday, June 4, 2026. Born on July 25, 1936 in Hazard, Perry County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Floyd and Cassie (Holliday) Mullins. Fred retired in 1997 from Chemineer in Dayton, Ohio after 30 years of dedicated service. He was a man of faith and was a dedicated member of Lewisburg Baptist Church in Lewisburg.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Sisters: Martha, Sophia, and Lydia Faye; Brothers: Wallace, and Roy; Granddaughter: Cassandra and Great Grandson: Bentley.

Survived by his Wife of 67 years: Eva Mae (Harvey) Mullins; Son: Fred (Elaine) Mullins, Jr.; Daughter: Patty (Joe) Downey; Sisters: Golden Noble and Ruth New; Granddaughters: Brittany Mullins and Kindra (Michael) Olinger, and Grandsons: Matthew Downey and Austin (Tori) Downey; Great Grandchildren: Graham Olinger, Paisley Downey and Noah Olinger and multiple Nieces, and Nephews; Sister-in-Law: Mary Rose.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 P.M., Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at the Lewisburg Baptist Church, 608 North Commerce Street, Lewisburg with Pastor Don Tucker officiating. Interment will be held in Royal Oak Memorial Gardens, Brookville. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at the church.
