Evelyn Louise Wirts Speaks

Evelyn Louise (Williams) Wirts-Speaks, age 83 of Cadiz, Kentucky and formerly of Eaton, Ohio, died Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville, KY. Evelyn was born on December 23, 1941, in Cincinnati, Ohio, daughter of the late Thomas Omer and Alice (Whitaker) Williams. Evelyn was a homemaker, and devoted member of the Ponderosa Baptist Church where she devoted her time caring for her friends and her church. Her daughter, Kathy devoted her life to caring for her mother in her later years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry J. Wirts and a son, Larry Joe Wirts, Jr.

She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Tim Wirts and Kenny and Jennifer Wirts and her daughter, Kathy Parrish; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

A Private graveside service was held at the convenience of the family in Mound Hill Cemetery in Eaton.
