Emma Jane Flatley

Emma Jane Flatley, age 92, formerly of New Paris, Ohio, died Friday, December 22, 2006 in Englewood, Fl. Born on September 15, 1914 in Somerville, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late William F. & Josephine (Hannah) Keehner. She was the Owner and Operator of Flatley Roofing in New Paris from 1967 to 1977. She attended the First Baptist Church in New Paris, OH.

Preceded in death by her 1st husband: James Wilbur Buchanan in 1955 and 2nd husband: Richard William Flatley in 1967. Sons: James A. Buchanan in 1991 and Edward L. Buchanan in 1997; Sisters: Ruth Specht, Mable Keehner and Mary Bailey ; Brothers: Peter Keehner, Clarence Keehner and Martin Keehner.

Survived by Sister: Margaret Sizemore of New Paris, OH, 4 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM Thursday, December 28th , 2006 at Barnes Funeral Home - 109 West Main Street- New Paris, OH with Rev. Reggie Osborne officiating. Interment will be held in Springlawn Cemetery - New Paris, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Thursday, December 28th, 2006 from 12:00 to 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
