Edith M. (Davis-Cupp) Wesler

Edith M. (Davis-Cupp) Wesler, age 88 of New Paris, OH died Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at Rosebud Village in Richmond, IN. Born on October 16, 1929 in Crossville, Cumberland County, TN she was the daughter of the late Roba & Rissie P. (Tabor) Davis. Edith served as Nurse Assistant from 1967 to 1974 at Riverside Hospital in Trenton, MI, worked on the family owned Dairy Farm and was a Home Maker. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist of Connersville, Indiana. 

Preceded in death by sons: Leon Cupp in 1952 and Doyle Cupp in 2014; Daughter: Charlene Van Winkle in 2017; Step-Son: Steven S. Wesler in 2007; Brother: Sylvester Davis in 2003; Sisters: Mary L. Kolvida in 2007, Elsie Mae Wyatt in 2002, Ernestine Blaylock in 2008 and Geraldine Pugh in 2017; Great Grandson: Lee Van Winkle in 2017.

Survived by her husband of 43 years: Duane H. Wesler; Son: Albert E. (Dora) Cupp; Daughter: Helen M. (Hector) Rivera; Daughter-in-law: Jan Cupp; Step-Sons: Mark D. Wesler and Paul W. Wesler; Step-Daughter: Susan E. Wesler; Brothers: Jackson Davis, Jr.; Richard C. Davis and James Davis; Sisters: Christine Keys and Maxine Batey. 7 Grandchildren; 6 Great Grandchildren.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, February 1, 2018 from 3:00 P.M.– 6:00 P.M. at Barnes Funeral Home - 109 West Main Street - New Paris, Ohio and one hour prior to service on Friday. The Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Friday, February 2, 2018 at funeral home with pastor Richard Byrd officiating. Interment will be held in Spring Lawn Cemetery in New Paris.
