E. Marie Lemmons

E. Marie Lemmons, age 91, of New Paris, Ohio, died Monday June 28, 2004 at Reid Hospital in Richmond, Indiana. Born on December 21, 1912 in Eaton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Clarence & Iva (Woodruff) Pope. She was a 1931 graduate of Boston High School of Wayne County, Indiana and Richmond Business School in Richmond, Indiana. Member of Church of Christ and Eastern Star both of New Paris. Preceded in death by Husband: Orval C. Lemmons in 1984; Son: Orval Lyle Lemmons in 1944 and two Brothers: Stanley Pope and Robert Pope.

Survivors: Twin Daughters: Kathleen Faye Lemmons and Marlene Mae Lemmons both of New Paris, Ohio; Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral services will be Thursday, July 1, 2004 - 10:00 A.M. (Ohio Time) at Barnes Funeral Home - 109 West Main Street - New Paris, Ohio with Rev. Alan D. Keesling officiating. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 30, 2004 from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. (Ohio Time) with Eastern Star services 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Interment will be held in Springlawn Cemetery in New Paris, Ohio.
