Dorine Etta Carroll

Dorine Etta (Wysong) Carroll, age 93 of Lewisburg, Ohio went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 26, 2026. Born on June 26, 1932 in New Lebanon, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Howard A. & Adria P. (Shell) Wysong.

She graduated from Lewisburg Union High School in 1950. She loved gardening and enjoyed being a farmer’s wife. She took pride in being a mom, grandma, great grandma and great great grandma. She enjoyed traveling & fishing throughout the United States and Canada.

She was a machine operator having worked at Delco, Gerdes Products, and Kuhns Mold & Tool before retiring in 1993.

Member of the Providence Lutheran Church in Brookville, Ohio.

Preceded by her husband of 53 years, Harold W. Carroll; daughter & son-in-law, Sharon E. & Roscoe R. Etherington; son-in-law, Richard A. Sizemore; sister, Evelyn J. Pelphrey.

Survived by her daughters & sons-in-law, Vickie L. & Steve Detro of Orlando, FL, Teresa A. & Jim Cook of St. Paris, OH, Linda K. & Ed Brower of Lewisburg, Ohio and Anita E. & Kim Myers of Arcanum, OH; sister, Dolores V. Eisenmenger of Brookville, OH; brother, Howard (Rose) Wysong, Jr. of Valparaiso, IN; 17 grandchildren and 26 great grandchild and 3 great great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Friday, May 29, 2026 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 N. Commerce St., Lewisburg, OH and from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at Providence Lutheran Church, 11475 Providence Pike, Brookville, Ohio (corner of Providence Pike & Clayton Road).

Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at Providence Lutheran Church, 11475 Providence Pike, Brookville, Ohio (corner of Providence Pike & Clayton Road) with Pastor Don Tucker officiating. Interment will be held at Royal Oak Memorial Gardens in Brookville, Ohio.
