Delber L. James

DELBER L. JAMES , 93 of Dayton, Ohio and formerly of Lewisburg, Ohio, died Sunday, January 18, 2009. Born November 16, 1915 in Lewisburg, son of the late Harry E. and Effie Barbara (Lutz) James. He was a 1933 graduate of Lewisburg-Union High School and a graduate of The Ohio State University School of Business. He was a WWII US Navy veteran and was retired from Price Brothers in Dayton. Member of the Miami Valley Golf Club.

Survived by his wife of 67 years, Nora Jane (Douglass) James of Dayton; daughter, Ellen S. Green of Glen Ellyn, Illinois; granddaughter, Erica Green of San Diego, California and grandson, David Green of College Park, Maryland.

Graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 30, 2009 at Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg, Ohio with Rev. Brent Cavendish officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Barnes Funeral Home, Lewisburg, Ohio.
