David B. Marshall

David B. Marshall, age 66, of New Paris, Ohio, died Monday, December 18, 2006 at Reid Hospital in Richmond, IN. Born on August 21, 1940 in Dayton, OH he was the son of the late Leonard & Edna (Lochtefeld) Marshall. David retired in 1992 after over 30 years of service with I.B.M. as a Customer Service Engineer. He was a avid golfer and member of Winchester Country Club. Member of St. John’s Catholic Church of New Paris and served in the U.S. Navy. Preceded in death by a Brother: William “Bill” Marshall in 1964.

Survivors: Wife of 43 years: Sue (Scherbauer) Marshall; Sons & Daughter-In-Law: Timothy D. & Tracie Marshall of Lewisburg, OH and Douglas W. Marshall of New Paris, OH. Daughters: Donna M Marshall & Robert Moore of New Paris, OH and Tammy E. Marshall of New Madison, OH. Sister: Carolyn Staub of Beavercreek, OH. 6 Grandchildren.

Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 am Friday, December 22, 2006 at St. John’s Catholic Church - New Paris, OH with Rev. J. Thomas Fitzsimmons officiating. Interment will be held in Springlawn Cemetery in New Paris, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Thursday, December 21, 2006 from 4 to 7 pm at Barnes Funeral Home - 109 West Main Street - New Paris, Ohio.
