Charles D. "Chuck" Thomas

Charles Denver “Chuck” Thomas, age 64, of Eaton, Ohio, died Monday, June 3, 2024, at his residence. He was born on June 20, 1959, in Richmond, Indiana. He retired from Dana Corp in Richmond, Indiana after 30 years and had also worked 10 years at GM. He attended Richmond High School. He enjoyed cooking, photography, NHRA, but his greatest joy was spending time with family and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Myron Duane Thomas and his father-in-law, Larry A. “Monk” Johnson.

Survived by his wife of 48 years, Katherine Kay “Kitty” (Johnson) Thomas; son, Charles D. (Heidi) Thomas, II; mother, Wathalene (Mullins) Rasner; siblings, Paula (Joe) Lucas, Dan (Veronica) Thomas, Robert Thomas; mother-in-law, Patricia (Bradshaw) Johnson, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Joe (Cindy) Johnson, Tom (Vonda) Johnson, Sam (Carol) Johnson, Lori Johnson and Bill Johnson; grandchildren: Paige, Andrew, and Avery Thomas; nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family with interment held in Spring Lawn Cemetery in New Paris.
