Charles M. Cooper

CHARLES M. COOPER, age 93, of Eaton, Ohio, died Tuesday, December 12, 2006 at Reid Hospital in Richmond, Indiana. Born on October 3, 1913 in Lanier Township, Preble County, OH, he was the son of the late George C. & Bertha (Gilbert) Cooper. He was a 1931 Lanier High School graduate and a Preble County farmer until his retirement in 1979. Member of the Eaton Church of the Brethren. He is preceded in death by his wife: Lois Beasley Cooper in 2005; daughter: Patricia L. Brubaker in 1988; brothers: Lawrence G. Cooper in 1995 and James Lowell Cooper in 1997 and sister: Catherine Thomas in 1981.

He is survived by son-in-law: Edwin S. Brubaker of Eaton; three grandchildren: Charles Brubaker, Jayne Medlock and Jeffrey Brubaker.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 18, 2006 at the Eaton Church of the Brethren- 813 Camden Rd. Eaton, Ohio with Rev. Martin L. Peacock officiating. Interment will be held in Fairview Cemetery in West Alexandria, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Sunday, December 17, 2006 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Barnes Funeral Home - 220 East Main Street - Eaton, Ohio and one hour prior to the service at the church.
