Betty G. Marr

Betty G. Marr, age 92, of Gratis Township – Preble County, Ohio went to be with the Lord Sunday, March 1, 2026, at Vancrest of Eaton. She was born on April 13, 1933, in Clark County, Kentucky, daughter of the late John F. & Myrtle (Martin) Grooms.

Betty was a devout Christian and attended the Eaton First Church of God, where she was very active in the worship arts ministry. She was an Administrative Assistant for 54 years at Preble Shawnee Schools.

Preceded in death by her husband: Dallas Marr in 2009.

Survived by her daughters & sons-in-law, Donna & David Cox of Brookville, Ohio and Paula & Derek O’Banion of Eaton, Ohio. Grandchildren: Lana & Sean Brown, Landen & Amanda O’Banion, Lyle & Karee O’Banion, Sunny & David Kapka, Haley & Chris Merrell, David & Kelsea Cox, Letta & Jeremiah South. 11 great grandchildren.

Family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 12:00 P.M. Friday, March 6, 2026, at the First Church of God, 601 East Lexington Road, Eaton, Ohio. A Celebration of Life Service will be at 12:00 P.M. at the church with Aaron M. Holman officiating. Interment will be in Fairmound Cemetery in West Elkton, Ohio.
