Bessie M. Bishop

Bessie M. Bishop, age 76, of Eaton, OH, died Thursday, October 5, 2006 at McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital in Oxford, OH after an extended illness. Born on June 30, 1930 in Montgomery County, OH, she was the daughter of the late Hillary & Ida (Osborne) Hanshell. She was preceded in death by her husband: Emmett J. Bishop, Jr. in 1992, 3 brothers and 3 sisters.

Survived by Daughter Elaine Bishop and friend Donald Marker of Camden, OH; Sons & Daughters-in-law: David J. & Teresa A. Bishop of Eaton, OH, Lavon & Betty Bishop of KY and William E. & Connie Bishop of Camden, OH.; Sister: Florence Reece of Eaton, OH; Brother: Robert Hanshell of Sabina, OH.; 7 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 9, 2006 at the Somerville Pentecostal Church - Mound Street - Somerville, OH with Rev. Riley Parker and Rev. Frankie Hunt officiating. Family will receive friends on Sunday, October 8, 2006 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the church. Interment will be held in Fairview Cemetery - Gratis, OH.
