Becky Whitaker, age 67 of Richmond, Indiana died peacefully at the Brickyard Healthcare in Richmond, Indiana on Friday, January 16, 2026. Born on January 9, 1959 in Hamilton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Leeroy & Norma Jean (Corey) Whitaker. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

Preceded in death by her father, Leeroy Whitaker in 2012; mother, Norma Jean (Corey) Whitaker in 2016; sister, Linda Kaufhold in 2003.

Survived by her children, Robert (Susan) Smith, Corey Jean Richardson, Stacey (Ben) Thompson; grandchildren, Michael Christopher (Hailey) Smith, Hannah Thompson, Matthew Lee (Leah) Smith, Conner Thompson, Alexis Richardson, Alex Richardson, Ariana Wynn, Zander Knott; Siblings, Chris Whitaker, Bobby Whitaker, Eddie Whitaker, Geena Whitaker, Corky (Lisa) Whitaker and Paul David Whitaker; 4 great grandchildren; beloved friend, Ernest Stenger; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
