Barbara Marlene Neff

Barbara Marlene Neff, 74, of Gordon, OH and formerly of Pyrmont, OH, died Thursday, April 6, 2017 at her residence. Born on May 6, 1942 in Montgomery County, OH, she was the daughter of the late Harry W. & Lucille L. (Baker) Thrush, Sr. Barbara was a retired school bus driver for the Arcanum–Butler Local School District after 25 ½ years, a school cafeteria worker and was a waitress for many years at L & K in Brookville and at Timber Lanes. Member of the Verona United Methodist Church.

Preceded in death by her Husband: Ivan Neff in 2015; Brothers: Harry W., Jr., Wilbur, Boyd and Larry Thrush; Sister: Margurite L. "Meg" Pultz; Step-Daughter: Patricia Ann Craig.

Survived by Sons: Jeffrey (Amy) Lawson, William Edward (Jackie) Lawson and Mark (Terri) Lawson; Sister: Violet Knecht; Brother-in-law: Dan Pultz; Step-Children: Nancy (Tom) Faulknor and Forest "Bud" (Karen) Neff. 6 Granddaughters: Billie Jo (Steve) Young, Sarah Lawson, Heather Gambrell, Chelsea (Cody) Thwaits, Madison Lawson and Sydney Lawson; 12 Great Grandchildren: Trey Young, Landen Young, Charlie Lawson, Jayden, Kohen and Bentley Thwaits, Caliah and Olivia Rehmert, Aiden Gambrell, Wyatt and Riley Smith, Raelyn Wagner. Nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Monday, April 10, 2017 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 North Commerce St., Lewisburg, Ohio with Pastor Chris Harris officiating. Interment will be held in Pyrmont Cemetery, Perry Twp., Montgomery Co., OH. Family will receive friends on Monday, April 10, 2017 from 10:30 A.M. 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
