Addie M. Thacker

Addie M. Thacker, 93, formerly of St. Rt. 726, Eldorado, OH died Friday, January 25, 2013 at Astoria Health & Rehab Center, Germantown, OH. She was one of 11 children born to the late Charles & Addie Elizabeth (Lamb) Guthrie, and was born in Franklin, OH on September 3, 1919.

Addie married Estle T. Thacker Sr., who died May 8, 1999. Together they had 2 daughters and 1 son. Addie retired from General Motors, and in her spare time she loved working in the yard, and her favorite hobby was crocheting.

In addition to her parents & husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Norma Pope (March 31, 2006); daughter-in-law, Lynn Thacker; brother Charles Guthrie; sisters Nancy Guthrie, Geneva Guthrie, Yvonne Argo, Helen Powell, Nora Balenger, Leona Welcher, Clara Allen.

Survivors include: son Estle T. Thacker Jr., Franklin, OH; daughter Dianna (Bill) Lewis, Eaton, OH; 7 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; sisters Virginia Emmett, Middletown, OH & Jean Moulender, Germantown, OH; many nieces & nephews.

The Funeral Service for Addie M. Thacker will be held Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at 2:00PM at the Bussard-Barnes-Vaniman Funeral Home, 311 N. Main St., Eldorado, OH, with Pastor Earl Welcher officiating. Burial will follow in Monroe Cemetery, Eldorado, OH. Friends may call from Noon to 2:00PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
