William Howard Woods, Sr.

WILLIAM H. WOODS, SR., 101, of Eaton, OH, died Friday, August 20, 2010 at Heartland of Eaton. Born on December 29, 1908 in Midland, OH, he was the son of the late William A. & Anna E. (Fisher) Woods. He had worked for Butler Heating in Dayton. Member of Visitation Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and the Senior Citizen’s Center in Eaton. Preceded in death by Wife: Helen (Wollborn) Woods in 1997; Sons: Richard Woods in 1967 and William Woods, Jr. in 2000; Grandchildren: Helen Moon and Sherry Manis; Step Brother: George Hudson; Step Sister: Rosemary Hudson.

Survived by Son: Kenneth Woods, Kingsport, TN; Daughter: Mary (Harry) Moon, Orlando, FL; Daughter-in-law: Sheila L. Woods, Lewisburg, OH. 5 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at Visitation Catholic, 407 East Main St., Eaton, OH. Interment will be held at 1:00 p.m. in Calvary Cemetery in Dayton. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 24, 2010 from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, OH.
