Walter Eugene Ruby

Walter Eugene “Bub” Ruby, age 61, of New Paris, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on February 20, 2021 at his residence. Born on April 22, 1959 in Richmond, Indiana, son of the late Walter Earl & Blondena Marjean (Bradley) Ruby. A 1977 graduate of National Trail High School.

Walter was a Truck driver for many years, known as "Country" on the CB Radio, he had surpassed many milestones in truck driving and had traveled millions of miles across the USA. He was self-employed and was Owner of T&W Trucking, LLC. He had worked for RSVP International in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He also had been a race car driver at Eldora Speedway in Darke County, Ohio. 

Member of the American Legion Post #360 in New Paris. Chaplain of the Sons of the American Legion and American Legion Rider. 

Preceded in death by his sister, Brenda Sue Wesler; daughter, Danielle Marie Smith. 

Survived by his Wife, Tresa (Sandy) Ruby; Children, Jessica Lynn (Kevin) Beckman, Amanda Jean Ruby, Christina Anne (Josh) McGilvary, Peter James Kelly and Justin Daniel Rhoads; Siblings, Linda Sue (Russell) Cook and Mary Lou (Scott Keller) Ruby; Brother-in-law, Mark Wesler; Seven Granddaughters, Alydia, Maliah, Brooklyn, Heaven, Peyton, Naomi and Layla; Numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends. 

Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Barnes Funeral Home, 109 West Main St., New Paris, Ohio. Family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. Condolences via www.barnesfuneralhome.com
