Virgil N. Schaeffer

Virgil N. Schaeffer, 81 of Camden, OH, died March 21, 2012. Born on March 26, 1930 in Cincinnati, OH, son of the late William D. & Berniece (Kramer) Schaeffer. Virgil received a BA at the University of California at Long Beach. Worked with the Price Brothers Co. and Ace Hardware. Member of the Railway Industrial Transportation Association. Member of the First Presbyterian Church in Eaton, OH.

Virgil proudly served as a Staff Sergeant in the US Air Force from 1953 to 1957.

Preceded in death by Brothers, William and Ernest Schaeffer.

Survived by Wife of 56 years, Laura (Parker) Schaeffer of Camden, OH; Son, Neal Schaeffer of Glorieta, NM; Daughter, Kathryn (Greg) Lafever of Oxford, OH; Very Special Son, Steven Arnswald of Pattaya, Thailand; Sisters, Lelia Kinner of Hamilton, OH and Anita (Don) Mitchell of Tonawanda, NY; Grandchildren, Thomas, Elizabeth and Benjamin Lafever.

Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 31, 2012 in Fairmount Cemetery in Camden, OH with Rev. Wayne Morrison officiating.
