Timothy Jo Harris

Timothy Jo Harris (T.J.), age 29 of New Paris, Ohio left us to be with his boys (Bubba Lou and Pablo) on Tuesday, December 27, 2022. T.J. was born March 28, 1993, to Joanna Braughton Newman. To know T.J. was to love him. He had the biggest heart of gold and an amazing, yet dark sense of humor that everyone near and dear to him will miss. He loved hard and lived harder. He was the main character of our lives and the peacock of the family with his big personality, which will forever be how he is remembered. T.J. poured his heart and soul into everything that he truly cared for, including his natural talent for art, pushing buttons, and playing his guitar and bass.

T.J. is survived by his fiancée Whitney D. Runnels; mother: Joanna (Braughton) Newman of New Paris, OH; sisters: Sara Harris, Tara Harris (Anthony Gordon), Aubrey Harris and Mary Harris; Nephews: Dean Davin and Roman Adkins; Niece: Alexis Adkins; Heterosexual Life partner: Tony Snyder; Bonus Moms: Cassandra Grimwood and Kim Snyder; Along with several cousins, aunts and uncles.

T.J. is preceded in death by his Stepfather: Mike Newman; Maternal grandparents Linda & James Braughton; His Fur babies (The boys): Bubba Lou and Pablo.

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 6, 2023, from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Barnes Funeral Home 109 West Main Street, New Paris, Ohio. T.J. would want everyone to come as they are and in lieu of flowers please bring something that reminds you of him such as an item or a written story that can be placed in his memory box.
