Thaddeus Ryan

Thaddeus Ryan, 85 of New Paris, OH died Friday, January 8, 2016 at Reid Hospital in Richmond, IN. Born on February 4, 1930 in Wayne County, Indiana he was the son of the late Thaddeus & Lanne (Hollingsworth) Ryan, Sr. He was a U.S. Army Korean War Veteran, member of the American Legion Post at New Paris, life-long New Paris resident and served on the New Paris Fire Department during the 1960's. Preceded in death by son: Michael J. Ryan December 2015.

Survived by daughters & sons-in-law: Cheryl & Tony Vosmier of Richmond, IN and Linda & Tom Petry of Prospect, OH; grandchildren: Aaron & Sarah Ryan and Brooke N. & Ronnie Johnson both of New Paris, OH; Renee D. & Nick Cooper of Richmond, IN, Michelle & Dave Rawlings of Prospect, OH and Matt Vosmier of Richmond, IN; great grandchildren: Ellie, Ethan, Lilly, Paightyn, Aeryn, Janlynn, Addie and Eli.

Family will receive friends on Monday, January 11, 2016 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at Barnes Funeral Home – 109 West Main Street New Paris, OH. The funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
