Sherry Lynn Manis

Sherry Lynn Manis, age 39 of Lewisburg, Ohio, died Thursday, December 27, 2007 at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio after an extended illness. Sherry was born on January 22, 1968 in Dayton, Ohio. She had worked at Walmart in Eaton and Richmond, IN and had been employed at Reid Hospital in Richmond for 7 years. Member of the First Missionary Baptist Church in Lewisburg, OH she was active with the Tri-County North Youth League with football and wrestling and a past Boy Scout leader for several years. Preceded in death by her father: William H. Woods, Jr. in 2000.

She is survived by her husband of 15 years: Steven A. Manis; Mother: Sheila L. Woods of Lewisburg, OH; Maternal grandmother: Sally Jane Begley of Confluence, KY and Paternal grandfather: William Howard Woods, Sr. of Eaton, OH; sons: Anthony Mitchell Manis, Teddy Dalton Manis and Steven William Manis all of Lewisburg, OH; sisters & brother-in-law: Evelyn R. Woods & Brian Ramsey of Monticello, KY and Helen J. Thompson of Lewisburg, OH; niece: Ayrial Simone Thompson of Lewisburg, OH; brother-in-law: Donald Manis of Richmond, IN.

Ohio services will be held 7:00 p.m. - Wednesday, January 2, 2008 at Barnes Funeral Home - 411 North Commerce Street - Lewisburg, Ohio with Rev. George W. Pennington officiating. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 2, 2008 from 4 - 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Kentucky services will be held 11:00 a.m. - Friday, January 4, 2008 at Victory Mountain Grace Brethren Chapel in Dryhill, KY with Pastor Sam Baer officiating. Family will receive friends on Friday, January 4, 2008 from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the church. Interment will be held in Begley Cemetery in Confluence, KY.
