Sharon Y. Atkinson

Sharon Y. Atkinson, age 62 of Eaton, Ohio died on Thursday, January 2, 2014 at Heartland of Eaton. Sharon was born on April 14, 1951 in Ironton, Lawrence County, Ohio. She had attended Miami University and retired in 2009 from Verizon in Richmond after 30 years of service. Preceded in death by her father: Roscoe Holsinger, Jr. in 2010.

Survived by her children: Samuel A. (Angela) Atkinson of Eaton, OH and Molly E. (Mark) Elliott of Englewood, OH; mother: Alma (Porter) Holsinger of Eaton, OH; sister: Mary Thompson of New Lebanon, OH; grandchildren: Harmony Atkinson, Victoria Studebaker and Samuel Elliott.

Memorial service will be held 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at Barnes Funeral Home – 220 East Main Street – Eaton, Ohio with Rev. Jerry Siler officiating.
