Sarah E. Juday

Sarah E. Juday, formerly of West Manchester, OH died peacefully Saturday afternoon at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, OH. She was recently residing at The Greenbriar Nursing Center, Eaton, OH.

Sarah was born June 14, 1942 in Greenville, OH. She was the daughter, and only child, of Mary Leona (Riegle) and Ivan Clemson Juday of West Manchester, OH. She attended school in West Manchester, and then Monroe, where she was a proud graduate of the “Class of ’60”.
Immediately following graduation she enrolled in cosmetology school to fulfill her dream of becoming a hair stylist. She began working in Dayton in 1961, and continued at several salons for many years. Following the death of her parents, she opened Main Street Hairstyling in her childhood home, a salon she truly enjoyed for many years.

Sarah loved flowers, and was a member of the Flora Garden Club, and the United Church of Christ, both of West Manchester. She was also a member of the 12 Step Recovery group, where she met her long-time companion, John Sikoria.

Survivors include a cousin, Ron Rexrode; special friends, Judy Miller, Jill Vaniman & Janet Jones; family of John Sikoria; and many very supportive caring customers and friends.

Sarah was preceded in death by her parents Ivan & Mary, and her companion John Sikoria.

Visitation for Sarah E. Juday will be Wednesday, September 20, 12:00 Noon to 2:00PM at the Bussard-Barnes-Vaniman Funeral Home, 311 N. Main St., Eldorado, OH. The Funeral Service will begin at 2:00PM with Pastor Terry Campbell officiating. Burial will follow at Greenmound Cemetery, New Madison, OH where Sarah will be laid to rest beside her parents.
