Sara G. Scisson

SARA G. SCISSON, age 80, of Lewisburg, Ohio, died Saturday June 5, 2004 at Brookhaven Nursing and Care Center in Brookville, Ohio. Born on December 23, 1923 in Jasper, Florida, she was the daughter of the late Andrew Wade & Ella Clifford (Humphries) Gill. She was a 1941 graduate of Jasper, Florida High School; Graduate of the St Vincent School of Nursing at Pensacola, Florida; Member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Lewisburg, Ohio; She retired in 1989 after 20 years as a Registered Nurse at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. Preceded in death by three brothers: Westford Gill, Andrew Wade Gill and Warren Gill.

Survived by her husband of 51 years: James P. Scisson. Son: James P. Scisson Jr of Toledo, Ohio. Daughter and Son-In-Law: Luann E. & Eric Willford of Findlay, Ohio. Sisters: Gertrude McLendon of Georgia and Oarie Spivey of Florida. Grandchildren: Andrew Michael Scisson and Sarah Elizabeth Scisson both of Toledo, Ohio.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 8, 2004 at Trinity Lutheran Church - 511 North Commerce Street - Lewisburg, Ohio with the Rev Brent Cavendish officiating. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg, Ohio at the convenience of the family. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 8, 2004 from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at the church.
