Robert C. Brokamp

Robert C. Brokamp, age 84, of Eaton, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2004 at Greenbriar Nursing Center of Eaton, Ohio, after an extended illness. Born on January 20, 1920 in Richmond, Wayne County, Indiana, he was the son of the late Albert & Nannie (Bright) Brokamp. He was a 1938 Eaton High School graduate and a U.S. Navy W.W. II Veteran. He was a retired Auto mechanic. Member of V.F.W. Post 8066 and American Legion Post 215 both of Eaton. Preceded in death by his first Wife: Martha J. (Marquis) Brokamp in 1969 and his second Wife: Vivian S. (Silver) Brokamp in 1997. Daughter: Janice Locke in 1998.

Survivors include Daughters & Sons-In-Law: Carol & Dan Smith of Longview, TX, Barbara Buckley of Bradenton, FL, Peggy & Ron Klinger of West Manchester, OH and Gail & Jeff Pieratt of Eaton, OH. 14 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 12:00 PM on Saturday, March 6, 2004 at Barnes Funeral Home - 220 East Main Street - Eaton, Ohio with Rev. Lowell T. Spencer officiating. Interment will be held in Mound Hill Union Cemetery in Eaton, Ohio with full military honors provided by the Preble County Honor Guard. Family will receive friends on Saturday, March 6, 2004 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the funeral home.
