Richard S Robbins

RICHARD S. ROBBINS, age 71, formerly of Eaton, OH, died Saturday, July 24, 2021 in Sebring FL. Born on March 3, 1950 in Dehart, KY, son of Norman O. and Genieve (Fannin) Robbins. He was a veteran in the United States Marine Corps and served during Vietnam where he was honorably discharged as a Corporal. Richard retired from Lewisburg Container Company (aka Pratt LLC) after over 30 years of service and was a Kentucky Colonel. He loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing. As well, Richard loved art and enjoyed listening to various types of music especially bluegrass and country and western.  

Richard is preceded in death by his father Norman, a brother Tommy, nephews Stevie and Ryan and a niece Jessica. 

Survived by his wife of over 40 years, Mindy (Brower) Robbins, Son Scott (Megan) Robbins and granddaughter Mia Marie, Covington GA; Mother Genieve Robbins, Cedarville; Brothers & Sisters-in-law: Chet (Brieta) Robbins, Cedarville, Bill Robbins, Cedarville and Doug (Julie) Robbins, Cedarville OH; Sisters & Brothers-in-law: Peggy (Bob) Hoffman, Sebring FL, Becky (Ed) Uhl, West Alexandria OH, Pauletta (Russ) Sydlowski, Union OH and Marsha Hackley, Dayton, OH; nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Family will receive friends on Sunday, August 1, 2021, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 North Commerce Street, Lewisburg OH. Graveside services and interment will be at Clifton Union Cemetery on Tanyard Road in Clifton, OH at 12:00 pm on Monday, August 2, 2021, with full military honors provided by the Greene County Honor Guard.
