Phyllis J. Chrismer Rogers

Phyllis J. (Lock) Chrismer Rogers, age 69 of Troy, Ohio and formerly of Lewisburg, Ohio died Friday, September 5, 2003 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio after an extended illness. Born on December 14, 1933 in Dayton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Charles Edward & Gertrude (Iler) Lock. She graduated from Lewisburg High School in 1952 and attended Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana. She was co-owner and operator of Locks Hardware in Lewisburg, Ohio. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Troy, Ohio. She served on the Miami County Board of Elections. She was very active serving with the Troy Senior Citizen’s Group in Troy, Ohio. Preceded in death by 1st Husband of 34 years: Harold W. Chrismer in 1989; 2nd Husband: Harold L. Rogers in 2001.

Survived by Sons & Daughters-In-Law: Scott W. & Pat Chrismer of Lewisburg, Ohio and Mark E. & Beth Chrismer of St. Peters, Missouri; Daughter& Son-In-Law: Lisa K. & Tim Lynch of Englewood, Florida; Five Grandchildren: Rashonda, Rachael, Lindsay, Dylan, & Megan Chrismer.

Memorial Service will be held on Monday, September 8, 2003 - 7:00 P.M. (Ohio Time) at Trinity Lutheran Church - 511 North Commerce Street - Lewisburg, Ohio with Rev. Brent L. Cavendish and Rev. Gil W. Krouse officiating. Family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the church.
